WIAQ is hosting the NSW Country Regional Championships on 16 and 17 January, and we need a working party to help us run it.

This is a major event in the regional swim calendar, with swimmers travelling from across Southern and Central NSW. It is also one of the biggest fundraising opportunities of the club’s year.

Many committee members are already committed to official duties during the event, so we are seeking volunteers to help with preparation beforehand and with running the BBQ and raffle on the day.

What we need help with

• BBQ equipment preparation
• BBQ food preparation, such as cutting onions and buttering bread
• Preparing lolly bags
• Organising raffle prizes and hampers
• Creating signage for the BBQ and raffle
• Helping organise the volunteer roster for the BBQ and raffle table during the event
